On the High Quality Development of Library Think Tanks

文章论述图书馆智库面临的挑战,包括图书馆存在“有库缺智”现象、图书馆智库体系缺乏统筹和统领、生成式人工智能的巨大挑战等;提出图书馆智库面向未来高质量发展的4个面向的定位,包括面向国家的图书馆发展系列战略、面向中国图书馆的重大现实问题、面向亿万读者不断增长的文化新需要、面向世界图书馆事业发展前沿;建议从决策影响力、社会影响力、学术影响力和国际影响力四方面对图书馆智库进行评价。

This article discusses the challenges facing library think tanks,including the lack of intelligence in library repositories,the lack of coordination and leadership in the library think tank system,and the enormous challenges posed by generative artificial intelligence.The study proposes four directions for the high-quality development of library think tanks in the future,including a series of library development planning based on national strategies,major problems facing Chinese libraries,the growing new cultural demand of billions of readers,and the development frontiers of the global library community.It is suggested that library think tanks should be evaluated in terms of their influence on decision-making,social influence,academic influence,and international influence.
