With the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence and Generative Computing(AIGC),journal editing is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities.The purpose of this paper is to discuss how to build and improve the professional ability of journal editors under the background of AIGC era.Firstly,the basic concepts of AIGC technology and its influence on journal editing are summarized.Secondly,it analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by journal editors in the AIGC era,and puts forward the necessity of building editorial capability.Finally,the paper explores ways to improve the editing ability to meet the needs of the AIGC era,and provides new perspectives and ideas for the research of related fields.
