政府环境注意力对城乡收入差距的空间效应影响研究

Research on the Spatial Effects of Government Environmental Attention on Urban-rural Income Disparity

学术界虽已注意到了城乡居民收入差距在地理空间上的溢出效应,但多数研究是从经济条件、科技水平以及金融基础等视角出发,忽视了政府环境注意力对城乡收入差距影响的空间效应。为此,本文以我国282个地级市2007—2019年的面板数据为样本,使用空间杜宾模型对政府环境注意力与城乡收入差距的关系进行实证分析。研究发现:(1)政府环境注意力对城乡收入差距的影响不呈简单的线性关系,而是呈显著的“倒U型”关系;(2)政府环境注意力存在扩散效应,当本地区的环境注意力提升时,其他地区的城乡收入差距的影响呈“倒U型”曲线;(3)政府环境注意力对城乡收入差距的空间效应存在异质性。对于东部地区而言,东部地区提升环境注意力会显著缩小周边地区城乡收入差距;而对于西部地区而言,西部地区提升环境注意力对周边地区的空间溢出效应并不显著。

Although scholars have noticed the spillover effect of the income gap between urban and rural residents in geographical space,they mainly focus on the economic conditions,technological level,and financial base,few researches have studied the spatial effect of the income gap between urban and rural residents from the perspective of government environmental attention.Therefore,based on the panel data of 282 prefecture-level cities in China from 2007 to 2019,this paper uses the spatial Durbin model to empirically analyze the relationship between government environmental attention and urban-rural income disparity.The results show that:(1)The impact of government environmental attention on urban-rural income disparity is not a simple linear relationship,but a significant"inverted U"relationship.(2)There is a diffusion effect of the government's environmental attention.When the environmental attention of the region is increased,the impact of the urban-rural income gap in adjacent regions presents an inverted U-shaped curve.(3)The spatial effect of government environmental attention on urban-rural income disparity is heterogeneous.For the eastern region,improving environmental attention in the eastern region will significantly narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas in the surrounding areas.For the western region,the spatial spillover effect of improving environmental attention in the western region on the surrounding areas is not significant.
