“无废城市”与企业绿色创新

"Waste-Free City"and Enterprise Green Innovation

“无废城市”是推动经济社会发展绿色化实现高质量发展的关键环节。本文利用“无废城市”综合性试点工作形成的准自然实验,考察其对企业绿色创新的影响及作用机制。本文使用双重差分方法的检验结果表明“无废城市”综合性试点工作对企业绿色创新增加约3.61%。增加政府资助和缓解融资约束是“无废城市”综合性试点工作对企业绿色创新影响的重要机制。当企业属于国有企业、处于重点关注生活垃圾领域的城市、非节能环保清洁产业时,“无废城市”综合性试点工作对企业绿色创新的影响更大。本文的研究结果对完善我国“无废城市”建设和推动经济高质量发展具有一定的启示意义。

A"waste-free city"is a key link in promoting the greening of economic and social development and realizing high-quality development.This paper utilizes the quasi-natural experiment formed by the comprehensive pilot work of"Waste-Free City"to examine its impact on enterprise green innovation and its mechanism.The test results of this paper using the double-difference method show that the comprehensive pilot work of"waste-free city"increases the green innovation of enterprises by about 3.61%.Increasing government funding and alleviating financing constraints are important mechanisms for the impact of the comprehensive pilot program of"Waste-Free Cities"on enterprises'green innovation.The impact of the comprehensive pilot program on green innovation is greater when the enterprise is a state-owned enter-prise,in a city that focuses on domestic waste,and in a non-energy-saving and environmentally friendly clean industry.The findings of this paper have some implications for improving the construction of"waste-free cities"and promoting high-quality economic development in China.
