Reflections on the Curriculum Development for Professional Master’s Degree Program in Design Discipline from the Perspective of New Liberal Arts

新文科视域下设计学类专业型硕士人才展现出多元、开放、创新、实践和跨学科的学习特征。针对以上特征,设计学类专业型硕士课程体系建设的思路应强调跨学科交叉理念下学习方式的多元与学习场域的跨界,并在此基础上,从协同联动课程链应用与特色课程模块建设两方面入手,培养学生“企业诉求—数据解析—知识纵深”的学习逻辑,实现知识的破壁融通,提升学生的学术洞察力,建立主动学习意识。

From the new liberal arts perspective,professional master’s talents in design discipline exhibit characteristics of diversity,openness,innovation,practicality,and interdisciplinarity.In response to these characteristics,curriculum development for professional master’s programs in design discipline should emphasize the diversity of learning methods and the transdisciplinary nature of learning environments within the framework of interdisciplinary concept.On this basis,it is argued that the approach should focus on two aspects,namely the application of collaborative and linked curriculum chains and the construction of distinctive curriculum modules.This will cultivate students’learning logic of“enterprise demands—data analysis—knowledge depth”,thus achieving the integration of knowledge across boundaries,enhancing students’academic insight,and establishing their active learning awareness.
