In mountainous farmland,the widespread presence of gravel can seriously affect soil quality and crop growth.To effectively solve this problem,geographic information system(GIS)technology can be applied.GIS is a powerful tool that can process and analyze large amounts of geographic and topographic data to provide decision support for users.This paper expounds the application of GIS technology in gravel remediation in mountainous farmland,including technology selection and configuration,gravel detection methods,data collection and processing.In addition,the paper describes in detail the GIS-based remediation methods,including topographic analysis before remediation,remediation technology selection and operation process planning,aiming to provide a structured and efficient gravel management plan.
