摘要
为探索互联网发展对二氧化碳排放的影响,以我国2006—2019年271个地级市面板数据为样本,运用OLS模型来探讨两者之间的关系。研究结果表明:互联网发展与二氧化碳排放之间的关系为倒“U”型,且在经过稳健性检验之后结果依然稳健;异质性分析发现,在碳排放量较低的城市,互联网发展与碳排放量之间的关系为倒“U”型;机制分析发现,无论是互联网发展的前期抑或是后期,科技创新均起到了负向的调节作用。据此,结合实证回归结果提出相关政策建议,助推实现碳达峰与碳中和的目标。
In order to explore the impact of Internet development on CO_(2) emissions,this study uses panel data of 271 prefecture level cities in China from 2006 to 2019 as samples,and uses OLS model to explore the relationship between the two.The research results show that the relationship between Internet development and CO_(2) emissions is inverted"U",and the results are still robust after robustness testing;Heterogeneity analysis shows that in cities with low carbon emissions,the relationship between Internet development and carbon emissions is inverted"U";Mechanism analysis found that scientific and technological innovation played a negative role in regulating the development of the Internet both in the early and late stages.Based on this,this article proposes relevant policy recommendations while combining empirical regression results to help achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
