Located on the riverbank of the world heritage, the Grand Canal,Xiaohe Park took over the abandoned industrial site of an oil factory and transformed into a multi-use open park for the public. The design team transformed Xiaohe Park into a hub for both culture and historical legacy while merging into the vibrant urban life in Hangzhou.A mesh ETFE canopy with dot print pattern, which can filter the sunlight as tree leaves and provide soft, translucent shade, can over the site connect all the buildings.
