The Traits of Marx’s View of Social Fairness

马克思以历史唯物主义的方法考察社会公平观,认为社会公平的实现以物质生产为基础,在社会形态的更替中,人们的物质生产活动决定着社会公平观,社会公平观也反作用于人们的物质生产活动。社会公平的维度从人与自然之间的关系表现出人们对自然界的改造关系,从人与人之间的关系表现出在物质生产关系为基础之上形成的政治、文化、道德、宗教等关系。社会公平的实质在于人们的物质生产活动在改变外界环境的同时实现着自身的发展,即人们在历史实践过程中自身的发展程度。

Marx uses the method of historical materialism to explore the view of social fairness,arguing that the realization of social equality is based on material production,and that in the alternation of social forms,material production activities of human beings determines the view of social fairness,and the view of social fairness reacts to material production activities of human beings.Dimensions of social fairness are manifested in the relationship between man and nature in terms of people’s transformation of natural world,and in the relationship between man and man in terms of the political,cultural,moral,religious and other relationships that are formed on the basis of material production relations.The essence of social fairness lies in the fact that material production activities of human beings change the external environment while achieving their own development,i.e.,the extent to which people develop themselves in the course of their historical practices.
