The use of color and pattern in clothing design is not only a way for designers to express their creativity,but also a key element in shaping the image of characters.Through the reasonable choice of colors and patterns,designers can convey specific emotions,cultural identities and social information,thus affecting the audience’s cognition and emotional response to the characters.The differences in the understanding and application of colors and patterns in different cultures bring new challenges and opportunities for clothing design.Therefore,a systematic discussion on the application of color and pattern in clothing design and its application in character image building,can help designers make more effective use of color and pattern in the creation process,in order to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for designers and enhance the expression and cultural depth of clothing design.
