新型研究型大学海洋学科课程思政建设的实践与思考——以南方科技大学海洋科学与工程系为例

Practice and Reflection on Integrating Ideological and Political Education into the Curriculum of a New-type Research-oriented University’s Marine Discipline:A Case Study of the Department of Ocean Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology

课程思政是人才培养的重要环节,海洋学科教育因自身专业特点和使命,更须加强专业课程与思政理念的有机融合。南方科技大学作为一所新型研究型大学,立足于深圳中国特色社会主义先行示范区,肩负着创新人才培养范式改革的使命。海洋科学与工程系深入融合课程思政育人的理念和元素,从教学内容、教学形式、教学效果等多方面进行了深入探索和改革,提出了南方科技大学海洋系特色的思政育人“业”字形模型。该模型以“城市、学校、院系”为基础,树立课程思政和专业课程“双支柱”,采取“结对子”“三区融合”等创新发展手段,揭示了南方科技大学海洋系在课程思政建设方面的实践经验,以期对创新型高校专业课程思政建设提供思路范例。

Integrating ideological and political education into the curriculum is a crucial aspect of talent cultivation.Given the unique professional characteristics and mission of marine disciplines,it is imperative to strengthen the seamless integration of professional courses with ideological and political concepts.Located in the socialist pilot demonstration area of Shenzhen,Southern University of Science and Technology,as a new researchoriented university,is committed to innovating the paradigm of talent cultivation.The Department of Ocean Science and Engineering has dedicated efforts to integrating ideological and political education into their curriculum,undertaking explorations and reforms in teaching content,teaching methods,and teaching outcomes.This paper proposes a distinctive model for ideological and political education,symbolized by the Chinese character“业”(meaning“profession”).The model is founded on the framework of“city,university,department”,establishing the dual pillars of“ideological and political education”and“professional courses”.Innovative approaches such as the“pairing system”and“integration of three zones”have been adopted to showcase the practical experience of the Department of Ocean Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology in curriculum and ideological and political education.The aim is to provide a reference model for the construction of curriculum ideology and politics in innovative higher education institutions.
