Fabrication of Aluminum Alloy Matrix Hybrid Composites and its Optimization of Heat-treatment Parameters

摘要 利用预制体挤压浸渗法制备了 Al2 O3f+Cf/ ZL10 9短纤维混杂金属基复合材料 ,并研究了固溶和时效时间对该混杂复合材料力学性能的影响。结果表明 :复合材料中两种纤维混杂分布均匀 ,经热处理后 ,复合材料基体组织细化 ,较佳的热处理工艺参数为 5 10℃固溶 4 h,170℃时效 4~ 8h。 Al2O3/Cf/AlSil2CuMgNi short fibers reinforced hybrid metal matrix composites were fabricated by preform-infiltrated route. The effects of solution and aging times on mechanical properties of the hybrid composites were investigated and heat-treatment parameters were optimized. The results show that two kinds of fibers were distributed uniformly in the hybrid composites. Matrix structure becomes finer and more uniform after heat-treatment. The effects of heat-treatment parameters on mechanical properties of the hybrid composites are mainly controlled by three factors, namely the change of Si phase shape and size, degree of interfacial reaction and aging state. Optimum heat-treatment parameters are solution at 510°C/lh and aging at 170°C/4-8 h. The fracture mechanisms of the hybrid composites is induced by debonding of reinforcing fibers at the large angle to the direction of the tensile load.
