Wang Ganchang,a rare physicist adept in both experiment and theory,made outstanding contributions in science and education which is closely related to his being trained by Ye Qisun (1898-1998),a master of great learning and integrity. During 1930 to 1931,Wang and Ye studied exactly the same course in modern theoretical physics for one year in Germany,and this unknown historical fact is quite valuable for understanding Wang′s success in his career.The author provides relevant sources and gives his opinions.
