20世纪 50年代初 ,为了破除解放前地质机构遗留的分割局面 ,实现中国地质学界的大统一与大团结 ,全国地质机构进行了大改组。当年的亲历者记述了这一调整发生的历史背景和过程。

In the early 1950s,the geological organisations throughout China underwent a major adjustment and change,thus breaking the pattern of pre-Liberation geological organisations and resulting in the establishment of a new system of unified leadership and unified planning for all Chinese geological undertakings.This paper gives an account of the background and course of this historical fact according to the personal experience of the author at that time.
