远程教学系统中流媒体网络传输的动态控制

Adaptive Buffer Controlling Techniques for Streaming Media Transmission in Distance Education

摘要 在把流媒体技术应用于一个远程教学系统的过程中 ,本文具体设计了流媒体客户端缓冲区的预警机制 ,并提出了一个流媒体网络传输的动态控制策略 .仿真实验结果表明 :在实时性、客户端适应性。 In this paper, we address a new buffer designing and controlling method in the client side. The method adaptively adjusts sending rate according to end user's specific network bandwidth and device constraints. The algorithm monitors the state of system and is able to quickly adjust to the changing capacity of the network. Simulation results demonstrate that the new buffer controlling method has a good adapation capacity against the available bandwidth fluctuation and offers superior performance over the classical approach for Internet video streaming application.
