张元济与嘉业堂主人刘承干

张元济与刘承干相知相交半个多世纪,张元济在古籍出版上得到了刘承干的无私帮助;而刘承干在成为大藏书家的过程中,张元济也时加援手。两人为弘扬中华传统文化作出的贡献,人们是不会忘记的。

Zhang Yuanji and Liu Chenggan had long know each other and made friends for 50 years before they passed. Zhang received unselfish service given by Liu in publishing ancient documents while lending Liu a helping hand for him to be a great private library collector during the years of Minguo period. People cannot refrain from recalling their contribution to the development of the Chinese culture and traditions.
