Cao yu's early dramas were obviously influenced by modernism.The subjects of his dramas have the flavour of modern western Philosophy.His writing scope extends to man's subconsciousness and unreasonableness.He used the writing style of symbolization and exaggeration.Absorbing modernism makes Cao yu's early dramas more profound and original.
