Presents the basic principle, technical features and catalyst of no on line furnace sulfur recovery process. It is proved by the operation of the commercial plant put into service that the sulfur recovery plant using this process has the characteristics of high sulfur recovery and tail gas purification, less investment, lower energy consumption, simple process flow, convenient control as well as outstanding economic and social results. It is suitable for newly built or expansion of existing plants with various scales, and has a broad market in future.
