A Typology of the Dictatorial Culture System in Ancient China

中国古代文化专制制度发端于军事民主制晚期 ,历经几千年的发展变化 ,到明清时达到登峰造极的状态。尽管其表现形式屡经变化 ,但基本可以归结为垄断型、暴力型、诱导型三种类型。这是一种逻辑上的概括。在历史过程中 ,它们往往互相补充、互相包含 ,不能截然分开。

The dictatorie cultural system in ancient China made a start during the late part of primitive society. After thousands of years' development, it reached the peak of perfection in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Its outward form varied frequentlies, but it can be classified into three categories: monopoly style,violence style and inducing style. As concepts they exist separately. But in ancient China, they were mutually complementary, contained each other, and can't be separated.
