Web Cache system can play an important part in decreasing server load, reducing the traffic on the Internet and the cost of connecting to the Internet , and improving the network speed and leading to load balancing .On the basis of introduction of principle and protocol of Web Cache, this paper gives several analysis and descriptions to the Web Cache on its functions,work mechanism,algorithm, etc in detail.
