Application sharing is one of the key technologies that support synchronous cooperative work in computer supported cooperative work systems. In this paper, the mechanism of application sharing is discussed in detail and the implementation of composite application sharing is addressed. Finally, a case of the application sharing which is completed on MS Windows is given in the last section of the paper.
