摘要
神话、史诗长于叙事,舞蹈、音乐亦可以叙述;而作为美术范畴的服饰形制及 图案长于表情拙于记述。而恰恰难于叙事的服饰图案,一些少数民族居然成功地用它生动地记 述了其艰辛的族源史、战争史、迁徙史,这是服饰在没有通用文字的民族中,替代文字语言功 用,发挥出图画文字价值的显著例证。多数民族服饰所传达的历史意识与乡土情结,展示出少 数民族服饰所具有的文字文化史料价值,及其所肩负的历史体现者的重要职责,堪称“穿在身 上的史书”。
