摘要
通过对热轧辊轴承失效件的化学成分、金相组织、夹杂物观察、表层碳浓度和表面硬度测量、剥落块显微形貌分析,结果表明轴承工作面产生早期失效的原因是:较大尺寸的夹杂物在切应力的作用下萌生微裂纹成为疲劳源,疲劳裂纹倾斜扩展至表面从而导致轴承圈工作面产生剥落损伤。
We analysed the failure of a piece of hot roll bearing by analysing its chemical components, examinating its metallography, inclusions, carbon concentration of the surface region, and testing the hardness of the spalled bulk, and found out that the reason leads to premature spalling of working surface of bearing is that under the effect of the shear stress,micro - crack playing a role of latigue origin initiates from where there is largge inclusion located,and propagates out at an acute angle to the surface,at last results in spalling damage of working surface of bearing shell.
