马克思主义民族观包括民族的基本概念和民族问题及其实质 ,解决民族问题的基本理论等两个方面的内容。斯大林对民族概念的定义在新的历史条件下需要进一步的发展与完善。民族消亡是指民族差别的消亡 ,是各民族在团结、平等基础上的共同进步 ,共同富裕 ,而不是本质消亡。社会主义初级阶段 ,民族问题的实质是经济问题。社会主义时期民族工作的根本任务就是消除民族问题事实上的不平等。而抓住发展 ,就是抓住民族问题的核心。

Marxist nationality outlook includes the basic conception of nationality,the essence of nationalities and the basic theory of the solution of nationalities.Stalin's definition of nationality needs further development and improvement.The disappearance of nationality should be the disappearance of its difference,not the disappearance of itself,namely,all nationalities have common progress and prosperity under the condition of unity and equality.The essence of nationalities exists in economy in the period of socialism,so ,its task is to eliminate the unequality of nationalities in fact,and its development is the core of the nationalities to solve.
