离散时空索引研究

RESEARCH OF INDEX MECHANISMS IN DISCRETE SPATIO-TEMPORAL ENVIRONMENT

越来越多的数据库系统需要存储和管理空间位置和 /或范围随着时间的变化而变化的时空对象 ,时空索引机制是数据库系统中支持时空对象有效存取的关键技术。本文分析了离散情况下时空对象的特点 ,研究了离散时空索引应支持的基本查询类型 ,并详细讨论了支持离散时空索引的关键技术。

More and more database systems store and manage spatio-temporal objects that change positions and/or extents over time, index mechanisms are key technologies in spatio-temporal database system in supporting efficient spatio-temporal access methods. The paper analyzes the features of the spatio-temporal objects in discrete environment, studies a set of fundamental query types that the index mechanisms should support, and discusses the key technologies of spatio-temporal indexes in discrete environment.
