孔子的女性观考辨

从《论语》内证与相关文献史料来考察,“唯女子与小人为,难养也”是为女子鸣不平,并不是后儒们所曲解而公认的歧视女性的铁证。孔子对女性是平等的、肯定的、赞颂的,这也是孔子根据春秋时期女子在社会政治、经济,文化的地位作用所得出的结论。

According to Confucian Analects and correlating materials, Confucius' statement 'only women and small men are difficult to cope with' is actually against injustice to women rather than the evidence of discrimination against them, which has been misinterpreted by Confucianists. Confucius' attitude towards women fairly, positively and praisingly. This is also the conclusion drawn by Confucius based on women's social, political, economical and cultural position during the Spring and Autumn Period.
