Containerized Transportation of Bulk Cement

本文推荐采用集装箱运输散装水泥,其优点是节约大量包装纸、减少水泥损失、保证水泥质量、改善劳动条件、降低运输成本;并对如何实现集装箱运输及将其纳入我国综合一体化运输系统提出了措施和建议。

The advantages of bulk transportation of cement are well known. The use of bulk cement is cost effective for the big cities, but in China, local construction works are widely distributed and the distribution of bulk cement needs special equipments which are costly and inefficient. The authors proposed to use containers for the transportation of bulk cement, which has the advantages in many respects, such as: easily fit into the intermodalism infrastructure of the comprehensive transportation system, avoidance of damage and losses of cement, use of common trucks and multipurpose standard containers, saving of big amount of good quality woods for paper package bags and the introduction of 'just-in-time' distribution system of cement consumption, etc. Special portable pneumatic conveyer for the handling of cement in and out of the containers and CFS will take care of the container cleaning.
