The influence of statictical fluctuations on the identification of various random cascade models

近来,文献中提出了用两种特殊的关联花样来区分不同随机级联机制的方案.本文对这一重要问题作了进一步讨论,着重考虑统计起伏的影响.仔细研究了在实际运用时会遇到的空饼问题和几率守恒问题,提出了解决这两个问题的方法;分析了用关联花样作为区分不同级联模型的标志受统计起伏影响的程度.

Recently, a scheme for the identification of various random cascade mechanisms using two specific correlation patterns is proposed in literature. That paper further discused this important problem with the stress on the influence of statistical fluctuations. It studies the problems of empty bin and probability conservation, which will be present in the application of this scheme to real data analysis in some detail and proposes the methods for solving these problems. It finally analyses the influence of statictical fluctuations on the identification of various random cascade models.
