李觏的八卦说属于其易学的一个重要组成部分 ,又是一个自成一体的思想系统。概略地说 ,有两个特点 ,一是气化论 ,关于八卦生成问题 ,李觏即主气化说 ,即气生象 ,象生形 ,与刘牧的数生象 ,象生形绝然对立 ;关于八卦之道及其运用 ,尤其对乾之四德的诠释也都是以气化论为基础而提出来的。二是其八卦说具有明显的务实求效的特点 ,这也是李觏全部思想学说的一个根本特点。
