李觏的农村诗 ,写自己身居农村之所见所闻所感 ,反映农民的生活 ,农民的愿望和农民的苦难 ,皆为刳肝沥血之作。字里行间 ,表现了强烈的历史使命感和沉重的忧患意识 ,是李觏诗中的精华部分。作为北宋中期一位杰出的思想家和诗人 ,李觏在中国文学史上的地位 ,如同他在思想史上的地位一样 。

Li Gou′s rural poems were about what he saw,heard and felt in the countryside and showed the peasants′ life, desires and sufferings. The strong sense of historical mission and the heavy consciousness of suffering expressed in the poems were the cream of the poems. As an outstanding thinker and poet in the middle Northern Song, Li Gou′s position in the history of literature, as his position in the history of ideology, should also be appraised highly.
