联机编目是实现图书资源共享的最有效途径。发展联机编目仍有一些需要研究解决的问题:著录规则应进一步统一完善;加强书目中心数据库建设;统一网络技术标准等。
Online cataloguing is an important part in realizing information sharing and a necessary step in library automation development.This article is an introductory discussion about the present problems and future development of online cataloguing,focusing on problems in the document record rules and their possible solutions.
