中介理论对外语教师的启示

Theory of Mediation makes us think of the role of a foreign language teacher

摘要 中介理论告诉外语工作者,在外语的教与学的过程中,教师起着重要的引导和中介作用。无论在学习者的心理和情感方面,还是在学习者学习能力的培养上,教师都充当着重要的"中介人"。 To be a qualified foreign language teacher,being only an expert in the language is far from enough.He/she should take over the role of a mediator as to make the learners psychologically ready for learning,trying every means to create a positive,harmonious,democratic environment for the learners;In the teaching and learning process,he/she should not only know teaching but learning.And a multi-model teaching should be applied;He /she should be responsible for training the learners how to learn efficiently so as to make it possible for the learners to learn autonomously,for the goal of education is to make the learners learn how to learn.
