Adding a new featured specialty 'Coast Guard Law Enforcement' to Science of Public Security is an accommodation to China's national strategy of construction of marine power and the need of China Coast Guard for comprehensive law enforcement personnel at sea. The Specialty has a distinct training objective, requirements, main subject and core curriculums, making the addition fully scientific and reasonable.
