加入 WTO,将对中国的教育市场产生广泛而深远的影响 ,特别是对以培养外语类人才为主、国际交流与合作相对更为频繁的外语类院校的影响将更为直接和迅猛。加入 WTO以后 ,我国外语类院校将面临哪些挑战和冲击 ,如何坚持外语类院校的办学特色 ,已经十分严峻地摆在了外语类院校的面前 ,直接关系到外语类院校在 2 1世纪的生存和发展。
China's entry of WTO will have a profound and far-reaching influence . In particular, it will directly and drastically influence those universities of foreign languages that focus mainly on training talents in English major and are experiencing increasingly frequent international communication . After the entry of joining WTO, many difficult problems such as what challenges and impacts those universities of foreign languages will have to face and how to maintain the teaching and administrating characteristics, etc have already sprung up threateningly in front of us and will be directly vital to the existence and development of these universities in 21 st century.
