A Study on the Protection of China’s Interests in the Middle East against the Background of “the Belt and Road”

中东地区是'一带一路'重要沿线区域板块,是推进'一带一路'建设的'天然合作者'。但是中东地区教派、民族、领土等各种矛盾相互交织,环环相扣,是全球地缘板块中最为动荡的地区之一。随着'一带一路'的深入推进,中国在中东地区的实际利益将不断增加。如何保护中国在中东地区日益增加的利益,将成为在中东地区持续推进'一带一路'建设的重要研究课题。

The Middle East is an important regional plate along 'the Belt and Road'and thus a 'natural collaborator'to promote the construction of'the Belt and Road'. However,all kinds of conflicts and contradictions,such as those among sects,nationalities and territories,are intertwined in the Middle East,overflowing and interlocking with one another,which makes the Middle East one of the most turbulent areas in the global geopolitical plate. With the deepening of 'the Belt and Road'construction,China’s practical interests in the Middle East will continue to increase. How to protect China’s growing interests in the Middle East thus constitutes an important research topic in the continued promotion of the construction of 'the Belt and Road'.
