Compassionate Maithri Governance: Transformation of Sri Lanka’s Ethnic Policy

西里塞纳当选斯里兰卡总统以来,根据国内外形势,进行了以'慈悲善治'为理念的民族政策转型。通过组建民族团结政府、修改宪法、制订'百日工作计划'等一系列措施,推动了民族和解与国家整合。尽管转型面临极端民族主义和政治改革危机的影响,但斯里兰卡所选择的民主政治和协和式民主路径对民族问题的解决产生了积极的影响,有助于深化中国与斯里兰卡在'一带一路'框架内的关系发展。

Since Maithripala Sirisena was elected president of Sri Lanka,he has carried out ethnic policy transformation based on the concept of'Compassionate Maithri Governance'according to the situation at home and abroad.He promotes national reconciliation and ethnic integration through a series of measures,such as the organization of a national unity government,the revision of the constitution,and the'100 Day Work Programme'.Despite extreme nationalism and the crisis of political reform,the democracy and consociational democratic path chosen by Sri Lanka have achieved a positive impact on the ethnic issues,which will help deepen the relations between China and Sri Lanka within the framework of'the Belt and Road'.
