In modern litreature,writers from western Hunan Province stick to local culture interpretation and play a role in the exchange of chinese local culture with the foreign culture.They have become historically rational in culture interpretation.They prefer the forms and ways of the modern or even the post-modern art in expression.These writers strive for revealing the solemnity and value of life,digging out the beauty of human nature,and pondering over the relationship between the healty development of human nature and the cultural construction of the chinese nation,including Miao,Tujia,etc.What they have done provides a positive enlightenment for the present literary works,and shows their choice of modernity from the perspective of culture interpretation.
