In College English teaching,creating language environment by simulating real situations is important to the learners' improvement of language skills,especially listening and speaking ability.This paper is to discuss how to use movie and video materials effctively in college English teaching.This paper also deals with the problems in the introductuion of movie and video materials to the aural-oral curse.
