The rubber bearing is one important structure in highway bridges. Because it is the key structure to connect the upper and lower, the rubber bearing's quality, installation technology and the bearing capacity in use are all vital factors to affect the function of the rubber bearing in highway bridges. This paper first analyzes the factors to affect the life span of the rubber bearing, and then puts forward relevant countermeasures according to the factors, hoping to inspire relevant departments.
