Since the construction of China’s first long-distance transportation pipeline, a long-distance transportation network has been built across the east and west, north and south. Pipeline transportation has become another form of transportation industry, and its existence tends to develop the energy demand market and the distribution direction between producing areas in a more reasonable direction. This paper analyzes the basic connotation and main characteristics of EPC general contracting mode, expounds the construction characteristics of EPC general contracting mode in the application process of long-distance pipeline project, and clarifies the responsibilities of all parties and specific application measures.
