城市形象可以概括为人们对一个城市的物质景观、基础设施、经济发展形势、社会面貌、政治表达、历史文化资源和外部舆情做出的总体分析和全面评价。在新传媒视野下,城市形象越来越受到传播手段的影响,从而以更加快捷的方式和不同寻常的渠道营造自身发展的竞争力。
City image can be generalized as the overall analysis and complete evaluation about a city's material landscape, infrastructure, the situation of economic development, social visage, political expression, historical and cultural resources and the public opinions from outside. From the perspective of new media, the media means have produced more and more influence on the city image, which contributes to the improvement of the city competitiveness in a fast and unusual way.
