Investigation on the Creativity of Students in Top-notch Universities on Engineering Education

摘要 卓越工程师教育培养计划存在院校差异,院校的学习环境对学生创造力均有抑制作用,主要症结是课程任务太重、评价单一,导致学生认知超负荷、过度追求成功,从而降低提出创新问题的动机和质量。调查启示是:挑战性、创新性课程内容与作业是培养创造力的主要途径;精简课程、实施多元等级评价是改革重点;强化育人理念、尊重学习规律,是卓越计划长远发展的根本宗旨。 The excellent engineer training programs are different in different universities.The common problem of the universities is the suppression of students’creativity,which results from heavy tasks and simplistic evaluation method.Therefore,students are overloaded and pay excessive attention to grades,which will cause the decrease of students’desire to raise innovative questions.The investigation shows that the innovative and challengeable classes and assignments are the keys to cultivating creativity.Moreover,the courses should be more concise and the evaluation methods should be diversified.Finally,China’s emerging engineering education should always follow the philosophy of education and respect the law of learning.
