很长一段历史时期人在共同体中生活,然后才有社会。滕尼斯使用"共同体"(Gemeinschaft)概念意在强调人与人之间的紧密关系、共同的精神意识及对社群的归属感与认同感。人的选择意志和功利主义相结合,使得基于人的生命价值的"真善美"被抛在脑后,朝着一切为了现世享乐的工具理性倾斜。社区学习共同体的共同学习是基于人的本质意志的学习,它的草根式生长表明,人类必将在一个新的阶段和新的高度归朴返真般地进入一个学习化的共同体时代。因为人是未完成的群居动物,实现自身潜能和寻找心灵的归属感,是人类本质意志决定的永无止境的追求。
