This paper describes and discusses mainly the application of computers to checking flexural rigidity of the lathe spindles.The compilation of the versatile program for checking flexural rigidity of the lathe spindles and the application of computer aided graphics to the procedure in analysis and examination,based on the features of computers,make the processing more clear and vivid.Versatility,computational accuracy,a small number of entries and perceptible graphics are available in the program.The rational and exact results have been obtained in the probation of the program for a period of time.
