Climacteric and Transition: Prospects of World Higher Agricultural Education——Summary of the International Higher Agricultural Education Forum and Chinese-Foreign University Presidents Forum

面对现代科技高度综合又高度分化的趋势和农业产业地位特殊而效益偏低的形势,高等农业教育发展成为世界高等教育和国际社会发展必须面对的重大课题。2018年10月2—3日中国工程院主办的国际工程科技发展战略高端论坛——国际高等农业教育论坛暨中外大学校长论坛上,200余名中外大学校长、专家学者就世界高等农业教育的发展危机、面临问题和转型战略发表了自己的实践观察见解或调查研究结论,共同探索世界高等农业教育的发展规律和路径,构建世界高等农业教育"命运共同体"。

Confronting the highly integrated and differentiated trend of modern science and technology and the situation of the agricultural industry with special status and low benefit,the development of higher agricultural education has become a major issue that the World Higher Education and the international community must face. October 2 nd to3 rd,2018,on the High-end Forum of International Engineering Technology Development Strategy that sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Engineering-International Higher Agricultural Education Forum and Chinese-Foreign University Presidents Forum,more than 200 Chinese and foreign university presidents,experts and scholars published their practical observations or investigation conclusions on the development crisis,problems and transition strategies of Higher Agricultural Education in the world,jointly explored the regular rules and ways of the world higher agricultural education and built a community of common destiny of Higher Agricultural Education in the World.
