全心全意为人民服务是党的根本宗旨,群众路线是党的生命线和根本工作路线,干群关系、人心向背关系党的生死存亡。立足马克思主义群众观,明析群众概念,探索群众路线的发展历程,明确提出党的宗旨与群众路线的一致性。进一步追溯党的宗旨的理论源泉,中国传统文化的民本思想和西方哲学的人本思想为其两个理论原点,但党的宗旨超越并扬弃了民本与人本思想,更加坚定人民的主体地位,保持了党的先进性和纯洁性。

Serve the people heart and soul is the fundamental purpose of the Communist Party of China(CPC). The mass line, which is considered by the CPC as its lifeline and a fundamental route of work, will never be old-fashioned and remain as a traditional advantage. The relationship between CPC officials and the people and whether the people are for or against it are related to the Party's life-and-death survival.This article is based on the mass viewpoint of Marxism, analyzing the concept of the mass, exploring the development course of the mass line, which making sure the consistency between the purpose of the CPC and the mass line. Furthermore, it also retrospects the theoretical source of the purpose of the CPC, which originates from the people-oriented thoughts of Chinese traditional culture and the Western humanism, and indicates the purpose of the CPC, which goes beyond the people-oriented thoughts and Western humanism, ought to ensure the subject position of the people and maintain the advanced nature and the purity of the CPC.
