基于灯光遥感数据的广东省城市化进程研究

Research on the Process of Urbanization in Guangdong Province Based on DMSP/OLS Data

城市化是地区经济发展和社会进步的重要标志,准确测度城市化进程对区域城市协调发展具有重要意义。本文基于DMSP/OLS灯光数据构建了反映区域城市化水平的综合灯光指数,通过对基于统计数据的城市化复合指数进行相关分析,获得综合灯光指数权重并进行验证,利用综合灯光指数对广东省1992—2012年的城市化进程进行了分析。结果表明:1、综合灯光指数与广东省城市化水平有较高的相关性,城市化水平越高,相关性越强;2、城市化水平不同的城市,平均灯光强度与灯光面积的权重有所差异;3、1992—2012年广东省的城市化水平最高的地区是珠江三角洲、粤东次之、粤西再次、粤北最低,差异在逐渐缩小,研究结果与广东省实际情况相符。

Urbanization is an important symbol of regional economic development and social progress. Accurate measurement of city urbanization has important significance to the coordinated development of the regional city.Based on DMSP/OLS lighting data, a comprehensive index of light was established in this paper, which reflects regional urbanization level. The weights of this comprehensive lighting Index was obtained by correlation analysis of urbanization composite index basing on the statistics of data. Using the comprehensive index of light in 1992-2012 in Guangdong Province, the urbanization level was analyzed and validated by the statistical data in this paper.The results showed that 1, the integrated lighting index and urbanization level in Guangdong province have high correlation, the higher the level of urbanization, the larger the correlation coefficient; 2, the level of urbanization in different cities, the average light intensity and the proportion of lighting area was vary; 3,In Guangdong Province, the Pearl River Delta has the highest urbanization level, and the Eastern and Western Guangdong region is in the second and the third place respectively. The northern Guangdong region has the lowest urbanization level. The general spatial pattern of urbanization level in Guangdong Province during the period of 1992-2012 remains unchanged with the reducing differences of urbanization level among the sub-regions. The result is consistent with the actual situation in Guangdong Province.
