摘要
《蜃楼志》是一部以粤商为主角的小说,在这部封建体制内商业伦理道德自由驰骋的"神话"中,作者通过苏吉士这一理想化人物表达对社会危机根源的深刻反省,同时也清醒地意识到苏吉士所代表的商人新道德伦理无法在社会层面上实现。该小说提供了一套有别于当时主流商业意识的生存方式与价值体系,为中国古典小说带来了崭新的艺术视域。
Shen Lou Zhi,a novel featuring Cantonese merchants,does not depreciate commercial ethics against the background of feudalism where merchants were oftentimes despised. The author reflected upon the root cause of social crisis through the idealized character Su Jishi and he realized that the new ethics of merchants represented by Su Jishi cannot be realized on a social level. This novel provides a way of survival and a value system different from the mainstream commercial awareness at that time,bringing new artistic perspective for ancient Chinese novels.
