伍尔夫小说中的花园意象充满生态女性主义意蕴,作家通过对花园的描写揭示了人类中心主义的二元对立思维模式对自然和女性的压迫、摧残和统治,展现了大自然和女性精神之间的天然联系,表达了人与自然是一个整体,人类应当尊重自然,与自然和谐共处的生态整体观。
The image of garden in Virginia Woolf's novels embodies the writer's ecological thoughts about the relationship between man and nature. It not only suggests the prejudice,suppression and control that patriarchy society has been imposing upon woman and nature,but also reveals the natural tie between nature and feminist spirit. Through the image of garden,Woolf advocates that man and nature are united,therefore,man should respect nature and live harmoniously with it.
