Dental magnetic attachment is a new kind of medical device for mouth and jaw's restoring. 2-D Finite element method is introduced in this paper to analyze magnetic field of the attachments. Maxwell tensor method and Visual work principle are applied to win the most appropriate size by calculating the magnetic force. The results of those two methods are compared with the experimental result. A 2-D Finite element visual software is programmed under DELPHI5.0.
